Our Mission

Apt Architecture was founded in 2012 by Manish, a registered architect with decades of experience in both residential and commercial design. Before establishing Apt, Manish was a founder of a startup architectural practice in the 1990s, and has worked as a senior project architect in Melbourne from 2004 - 2011. 

 

After moving to Australia in 2004, he saw something surprising: in a country known for its quality of life, few people could afford to hire architects for their homes. Most relied on standard designs with little individuality or connection to context.

Apt was created to change that, to make thoughtful, customised design accessible, and to bring character back into suburban streets.

Today, Apt operates in that balanced space between professional capability and personal care.
We deliver everything from multi-storey apartments and childcare centres to medical facilities, community buildings, and large religious developments, with the same attention to detail given to every family home.

 

Our team is uniquely diverse, with members who bring a rich mix of cultural backgrounds and languages. This diversity allows us to create culturally aware designs and to understand the different ways people live, build, and express identity through architecture.
